Trovatori are husband and wife Darren and Caroline Clarke who combine the power and beauty of classically trained voices with the intimacy of acoustic guitars.

Trovatori is Italian for wandering minstrels, which is the perfect job description for Darren and Caroline as they share a passion for travelling and singing, discovering music that they present to audiences worldwide.

Their travel is not just geographical - they love to journey through musical time and retrieve some of the best songs from centuries past up to the present day, as well as writing their own! They explore different genres of music including opera and classical, art song, music theatre, folk, ballads and film themes.

Whether performing with orchestra, band or providing their own accompaniment on their classical guitars, Trovatori offer carefully chosen programmes of music enhanced by their relaxed, entertaining presenting style which audiences love.

Having met performing at the renowned Bregenz Festival in Austria, Darren and Caroline have performed across Europe, the USA, Australia and New Zealand. In the UK they have performed in venues such as the Royal Albert Hall, Birmingham Symphony Hall, Cadogan Hall, Queen Elizabeth Hall and St John's, Smith Square as well as performing live in concert on BBC Radio 3.

Trovatori's talents take them all over the world, performing both on land at international venues and at sea as guest entertainers on cruise ships. They also enjoy performing at music festivals, theatres and churches as well as at corporate and private events.

In 2015 Trovatori released their album, "Songs from here, there and everywhere", featuring many of their favourite songs and duets, all arranged with just their guitars for accompaniment. The album is now available to purchase online, and CD copies are available through their online shop.

"Trovatori will enchant you with songs from all over the world, from all over time!"
